Do I have to wash the products I rented?

LINEN: Please remove excess food and debris from the cloths and napkins prior to returning. Linen should also be completely *DRY* and free of moisture.

Pelican Tents & Events is conveniently located at

Shreveport, LA 71119.

What are your payment terms?

Pelican Tents & Events requires a 50 percent deposit at the time of the reservation. The balance is due before or at time of delivery.

Are you open weekends?

Weekends are by appointment only.  If you have an event on the weekend, please call the office and your call will be transfered to the on call person.

What payment methods do you accept?

Pelican Tents & Events accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Credit cards can be used over the phone or at our office.  Orders over $1,000.00 are subject to a 3% Credit Card Fee.  Personal or Company checks and cash are also acceptable. We require all orders to be paid in full at the time of delivery, except for established accounts.

Does your crew set up the equipment?

Pelican Tents & Events trained staff are required to set up certain items such as tents, staging, dance floors, etc. Other items (tables, chairs, linens, etc.) can be set up by our trained staff or by the customer to save on installation fee.

Do I need an appointment to visit your showroom?

Our Showroom is open Monday thru Friday year round… Although you don’t need an appointment we encourage you to make one if possible or to call ahead.

Can we pick up a tent?

Unfortunately, a tent is something our trained staff must set up for your event.

What are the prices of your tents?

Tent prices vary depending on the size and the style tent you are looking for. We have listed some of our common sizes with pricing under the description of the tents we offer.  If you don’t see the size you are looking for or not sure what size you may need, please don”t hesitate to give us a call at 318-841-8368. We also have a quote form that can be completed on our website.

What if I cannot find a specific item or style on your website? 

Feel free to give us a call as we are always updating and restocking our inventory.

How soon should I schedule?

It is always best to schedule as early as possible to guarantee your items are available. We also do our very best to accommodate those last minute requests.

If I reserve a tent for my wedding that is a year out as a back up plan for rain, can I cancel my reservation closer to the wedding date ?

Situations like these are things we handle on a case by case basis. If you have any concerns with your rental please reach out to us and we can work with you.

What is the weight limit on your chairs?

Each chair is different in terms of weight limit. Please see the product description of each chair.

What if I stain the linens? 

If there is obvious damage such as mildew, excessive stains, burns or tears you will be charged the replacement cost of the linen. 

When is your office open?

Pelican Tents & Events team is available to serve you Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. The Showroom is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
